  • Turning the Tide Ovarian Cancer RetreatsHeld annually in New England, this retreat empowers those diagnosed with ovarian cancer through community-building and supportive programming.
  • Camp Mak-A-Dream – Empowers survivors and their families to live with and beyond cancer through life-changing Montana experiences where they strengthen life skills, gain resilience, and develop lasting relationships.
  • Camp Bravehearts Oncology Camp for Women – Provide participants an opportunity to learn new skills, increase self-esteem and confidence, and help address the risks and fears that women face during and after treatment.
  • Healing Odyssey – A powerful weekend retreat for women cancer survivors to network with other survivors and to learn strategies for coping with, recovering from, and surviving cancer.
  • Mary’s Place by the Sea –  Offers two unique wellness retreat options free of charge to women with cancer.

Emotional & mental health support

  • A Time to Heal Cancer Foundation – Provides support, education, and empowerment so that cancer survivors and their caregivers may create their best lives.
  • CancerWellness.org – Offers free counseling, support groups, and health programs to over 1,800 people each year, helping those affected by cancer – patients, families, and caregivers – connect and cope.
  • Cancer Support Community – Online and in-person emotional support.
  • CancerCare for Kids – Provides free, professional support services for parents, children and adolescents affected by cancer, as well as information about helping children understand cancer and additional resources.
  • Women’s Cancer Resource Center – Offer online cancer support groups in Spanish and well as for African American/Black women with cancer.
  • Immerman Angels – Provide free, personalized one-on-one cancer support for cancer fighters, survivors, previvors and caregivers.

Menopause, sexual health, & fertility resources

  • Menopause and Midlife Health Program – Northwell Health – Certified experts to support your individual needs throughout every stage.
  • Let’s Talk Menopause – Invested in changing the conversation around menopause so women get the information they need and the healthcare they deserve.
  • Livestrong Fertility – The Livestrong Fertility Discount Program works with compassionate clinics nationwide that have all committed to at least a 25% service discount for qualifying patients.
  • RESOLVE – Dedicated to ensuring that all people challenged in their family building journey reach resolution through being empowered by knowledge, supported by community, united by advocacy, and inspired to act.
  • The Chick Mission – Ensures every young woman newly diagnosed with cancer has the option to preserve fertility through direct financial support, educational programs, and advocacy efforts.

  • Cancer Financial Assistance Coalition – Directory of financial aid resources.
  • Healthcare.gov – Health coverage options for cancer patients.
  • Family Reach – Focused solely on helping people with cancer access food, housing, utilities, and transportation.
  • SharsheretImproves the lives of Jewish women and families living with or at increased genetic risk for breast or ovarian cancer through personalized support and financial assistance.

Medication & co-pay assistance

  • Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) – Provides a co-pay Relief program exists to help reduce the financial distress patients, and their families face when paying for treatment.  
  • CancerCare – Provides limited financial and co-pay assistance.
  • Good Days – Provides financial support for patients who cannot afford the medication they urgently need.
  • HealthWell Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization that helps patients with a chronic, life-altering disease afford their medications when health insurance is not enough.
  • Needy Meds is an online information resource of programs that provide assistance to people who are unable to afford their medications and health care costs. All the information is free and easy to access.
  • Patient Access Network offers an ovarian cancer financial assistance for out-of-pocket medication costs, including co-pays, health insurance premiums and transportation costs associated with treatment.
  • State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs, hosted on the U.S. Government website for Medicare, has an interactive tool that allows patients to search for programs that help pay Medicare drug plan premiums and/or drug costs.

Specific drug assistance programs

  •  Triage Cancer provides patients, caregivers, and health care professionals with free one-on-one help in the areas of health insurance, disability insurance, employment, finances, medical decision-making, estate planning, and more. They help you navigate the legal, financial, and practical barriers that you face as you access care.
  • HealthCare.gov  provides resources for finding health insurance options as well as enrollment assistance to obtain health insurance. Premium assistance and cost-sharing assistance may also be available to eligible individuals.
  • Patient Advocate Foundation (PAF) is a national 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides case management services.  They are able to help with health iInsurance denials and appeals.
