The role of the caregiver in the post surgery treatment of an ovarian cancer patient is huge. Many family members are asked to perform health care related tasks such as wound care and side effect management. This discussion lead by Nora Lersch, a nurse practitioner in a gynecologic oncology practice, serves to provide insight for caregivers to help them navigate these issues, as well as caregiver burnout.
We appreciate Nora Lersch's contribution of her time and Magee Womnens Hospital of UPMC for providing the resources to make this lecture series possible. Learn more about Magee-Womens Gynecologic Cancer Program here. Learn more about Magee Womens Hospital of UPMC here.
